  4. Mr. Riley, all you have to do to view the other sites is to click on the link inside the email I sent to you with everyone's blog address in it. I, too, am interested in seeing what you do with reading and Advanced Livestock.

    1. We just finished a unit about agricultural issues and students had to so a group research project and present in front of an outside judge. Because there are a lot of things always happening with agricultural topics the students are presenting weekly articles that they choose. This was the first week for this to happen. It allows me to see what the interest of my students are.

  5. Hello Dale,
Since you are already a teacher and have one subject that you teacher, advanced livestock.. Would you mind to go a little more into detail to what you do teach in that class?
Do you focus more on ONE type of animal; horse, cows, pigs, sheep, etc... all of the above?

    1. I have 6 different preps for the classes I teach. We are on a 10 block system, I am teaching an Advanced Livestock class this year and it will cover all species of livestock if the students have the interest. I also teach shop classes which include welding and construction of metal projects. So doing a welding unit plan is not out of the question. I a round about way I touch on a lot of subject in agriculture classes.
