Introduction
I realized that I did not give you all a brief history about myself. I am originally St. James/Rolla area and I went to College at Mizzou. I have a BS in Animal Science and and MS in Animal and Range Sciences. Prior to teaching Agricultural Education, my wife and two boys ran a cattle operation in North Carolina for 11 1/2 years. Then a little over 3 years ago we moved closer to family and I then started a second career as a Ag Education Instructor. So, I am learning on the job and trying to gain all the information I can from other teachers and from all these classes.

Welcome (back) to Missouri! I love North Carolina, but I didn't know it was cattle country. Looking forward to helping you learn how to use reading strategies to teach content.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool background that you have. I at times wish I would have stuck with raising cattle, like we had done and that many of my family members still do today. It was a big part of my life for many years, then sports came into play and I went to college, finding other interest...
